Prudhoe Castle, Northumberland.Prudhoe Castle overlooks the River Tyne from a wooded hillside on the north side of the town. The Castle dates from the 12th century and became a ruin in the 16th century, but had some restoration done in the 18th century by the Duke of Northumberland.
