Northumberland Castles.

Northumberland is a county steeped in history and has many Castles.

Some, such as Alnwick and Bamburgh are magnificent castles that are complete and lived in, whilst others such as Edlingham are more modest ruins. All have a very interesting history and have played important roles in the past.
