Berwick Harbour.
Berwick is the most northerly port and town in
England.
The main dock is Tweed Dock at Tweedmouth on the south side of
the River which handles cargo, including timber and has been
upgraded in recent years.
The quays at Berwick were once busy with fishing boats
and also housed a small shipyard, but are now used only by a few small boats.
Further downstream at Tweedmouth there is a pier where
the lifeboat is Stationed and this was once used extensively by
fishing boats.
