The path to Dove Crag is being repaired with stone slabs due to erosion by walkers.
View back down the path to the car park and across to the hill fort.

To the north, a hazy view of the Cheviot Hills beyond Thropton seen in the foreground.

To the south Fontburn Reservoir can be seen.
This is one of the best viewpoints in Northumberland.
