This small bridge crosses the River Wansbeck at Angerton.

Further upstream the river bends before the third railway bridge.

The third railway crossing over the River Wansbeck is unknown to most people.
It carried the "Wansbeck (Wanney) Line" near Middleton and has been
unused for many years.

Trains ran from Morpeth to Redesmouth Junction where the "Wanney" Line met the
line from Hexham to Riccarton Junction on the Waverley Line - all long since gone.
