Northumberland Cam - Photo of the week

"View down the Northumberland Coast from the River Blyth"

- Taken from beside the Alcan Terminal at North Blyth using a very long telephoto lens.
- In the foreground anglers fish from the West Pier, yachts enter the river and Cormorants sit on their favourite jetty perch.
- In the distance a very large ship is sailing into the River Tyne.
- Four lighthouses can be seen in this photo: St. Mary's Island, Tynemouth Pier, South Shields Pier and Souter Lighthouse.
