Love the site.
What a surprise I got when I saw my horse looking back at me in
the Bothal Feb 2004 site.

Myself and my family moved from Morpeth in 2003 to Australia.
It is really nice to see that the character of the town is exactly
as I remember it - it brings back great memories!

I have just discovered that my ancestors were in all probability
Bertrams of Bothal Castle.
I found pictures on your website and are now planning on visiting
the area.
What a great idea this site is.
The pictures are superb.

My friend and I visited the the Low Chibburn Chapel while on a
bike ride last week.
It is beautiful. But, surely the route to it could be made more
accessible for people to visit this place of interest.
Of course we had to lift our bikes over the stiles!
It is also overgrown, the grounds of such an asset should be better
maintained.
Good photos!

What a wonderful website.
The pictures are marvellous.
It emphasises how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful county,
one which should be enjoyed by all.

You may be interested to learn that I recently purchased an oil
painting of Boulmer painted by Ventress in 1919 and it was exhibited
in Berwick.
There is a woman on the beach with some fishermen standing near
a fishing boat and apparently giving her "a bit of my mind"
(title).
I do not know anything about the artist but it is a lovely piece.
I would be pleased to have any additional information.
