Photos of Goswick Sands, North Northumberland Coast.

These photos are from Goswick Sands on the North Northumberland Coast. This is a vast stretch of beach at low tide which really has to be visited to appreciate the scale of the place.

A word of warning - if you visit this beach you really should check the tide times carefully - we would not advise walking here when the tide is coming in as the sands are very flat.

Views include:

  • The beach looking north and south at the low tide mark.
  • View from the water's edge back to the shore (a long way!)
  • Old lookout tower.
  • Warning signs that should be heeded.
  • Camping and caravan site behind the dunes.

* Note there are a lot of photos on this page, so they may take a while to load.
