Falstone, Northumberland.

Falstone is a small village in the North Tyne Valley, near Kielder.

It sits in the shadow of Kielder Dam a short distance up the River Tyne.

At one time there was a railway station on the old line between Redesmouth Junction and Riccarton Junction - long since closed and partly submerged under the reservoir.

In the village there is a tea room and pub, there are also two fine looking churches.

The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
