Churches in Bywell, Northumberland.

There are two churches very close to each other at Bywell, a small hamlet on the River Tyne a few miles west of Prudhoe.

The churches are:

St. Andrews Church, which dates from the 7th century is no longer used but is open to the public and kept in beautiful condition.

St. Peters Church, which dates from the 9th century is still in use.
