Battle of Otterburn - Battlefield Site, Northumberland.

The photos on this page are from Otterburn Battlefield. The Battle of Otterburn took place at night in August, 1388 between an English force led by Sir Henry Percy and Scottish raiders led by James, Earl of Douglas.

The Scots were victorious and over 1800 English soldiers died. Their remains were buried in Elsdon Churchyard.
