Photos of North Blyth, Northumberland -Northumberland is not all dramatic coast and countryside views - South East Northumberland has industrial areas, although little heavy industry remains unlike the past when it was dominated by coal mining. These photos are of the River Blyth which is still a busy port, although a shadow of it's former self when ship building, repair and dismantling, along with coal exports were major heavy industires.
