The crags are a popular rock climbing location and have been for many years. A seat above the crags provide spectacular views north on clear days across the River Aln valley to the Cheviot Hills. Nearby is Edlingham Castle, Chruch and the viaduct that carried the old railway from Alnwick to Wooler and Cornhill. Views on this page include:
