Brinkburn Priory, near Rothbury, Northumberland.

Brikburn Priory is in an almost hidden location on the north bank of the River Coquet a few miles east of Rothbury. The Priory was founded in the 12th century.

It's location helped it to avoid being attacked by Scottish invaders who rode past it while burning other places in the area.
